Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6/14/2026

1. What we collect

We collect what you give us so the app can do its job: your name, email address, age, height, weight, job type, schedule, training preferences, and your workout and meal logs. We also store your subscription status. We do not collect your contacts, photos, or location.

2. How we use it

Your information is used to: (a) personalize your workout and meal plan, (b) show your progress over time, (c) operate your subscription and send necessary account notifications, (d) improve the app in aggregate. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. We never sell your data

IronPlate does not sell your personal information to third parties, ever.

4. Where it is stored

Your data is stored securely in our backend infrastructure. Access is protected by row-level security so only you can read your own data. Communication between the app and the backend is encrypted in transit.

5. Payments

Card payments are processed entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. IronPlate never sees or stores your card number, CVC, or expiry. We only store subscription status, trial end date, and the last 4 digits of your card (returned by Stripe) for support purposes.

6. How to request deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account, or by emailing [contact email — to be filled in]. If your subscription ends and you do not resubscribe within 7 days, your account and data are deleted automatically.

7. COPPA / age restriction

IronPlate is not intended for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use only the cookies and local storage strictly needed for the app to function (sign-in session, subscription state, in-progress workout). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

9. Changes

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will tell you in-app. Continuing to use IronPlate after a change means you accept the updated Policy.

10. Contact

Privacy questions: [contact email — to be filled in].
